city scene -washington park
Nothing says summer like an afternoon in the park. Last week we checked out the newly renovated Washington Park. There were lots of families hanging out and kids squealing while running through the fountains which are timed to classical music! Young and old, black and white, suburban and urban...a good time was had by all. We went early so we missed the concert that night but I can imagine coming back with a little picnic and enjoying ourselves under the stars in this beautiful park while being serenaded by some of the city's best musical acts.
