Holiday Event Dressing: The Velvet Top
Really having a moment with velvet ( gold velvet to be more accurate ) and wore this knotted top to two recent events. It’s the perfect top / light jacket option for date nights, fall weddings… holiday events you name it. I feel like I’m constantly grabbing for my leather jacket, and blazers can often feel too business-y depending on the occasion, so this is a nice dressy jacket alternative for this coming festive season. I wore it with the matching velvet tank and also with a little black silk tank underneath but if you’re more daring it’s super sexy knotted on it’s own ( seen here ).
