It's official, I must admit, I've come down with a bad case of Olympic fever. I had great fun picking up on all the lovely details of the opening ceremony and since then the TV has been on all day. Well, until I flew off to the antipode* and now I've been staying up late and getting up early to catch the fringe events and making do with replays for the rest of the day. So far I've been watching a lot of rowing and gymnastics, rowing because that's just what New Zealand excels at and gymnastics because it's so much fun to watch.
