Bonjour Tristesse While I do find the excess of French words and phrases on tees right now a bit cliche, I couldn't resist this particular knit since this phrase is also the title of one of my favorite Jean Seberg films. Bonjour Tristesse is an absolutely stunning movie (with a covetable costuming) and, like a few other famous Seberg films, a big style inspiration today often seen referenced in editorials and on runways. The phrase, which means "hello sadness" also seems apt as we hover on the cusp of autumn since it can be quite a moody season. As Hemingway put it, "you expected to be sad in the fall.
