Alice's Perfectly-Blue Dress
Dear Dress Lovers, Is there not something ethereal about the blue version of the Alice in Wonderland dress? Though there were other illustrators through the years who had other-colored dresses dancing in their heads, John Tenniel's blue dress stuck. It stuck like glue. Even until the most recent movie version of Alice in Wonderland with the gorgeous Mia Wasikowska as Alice. So it is that I am stuck on the perfect blue dress. When I think of Alice, I cannot help but picture the darling blue dress (fitted to her waist just perfectly!), the white pinafore and the little black shoes. Perhaps when I am shopping and find myself yet again answering the call of a blue...
