The nice thing about having to leave the house so early in the morning during winter is that my feet are often frozen to the point of numbness, and walking in not-so-comfortable heels feels like floating on clouds. And by the time my toes have thawed a little, my shoes are broken-in and it's like floating on clouds...but for real, this time.
