Dumbo, Brooklyn: Yellow on a Rainy Day
Last month Derek and I planned a day trip to Dumbo, Brooklyn. Our last few day trips to NYC have mostly been spent in Manhattan so it was nice to spend an afternoon in my other favorite borough. We spent the morning getting brunch in Soho at Jack's Wife Freda and then made the walk over the Brooklyn Bridge (my first time to walk across the bridge!) into the neighborhood of Dumbo. It ended up being a rainy and chilly summer day but there was still so much going on. We spent well over an hour at the Brooklyn Flea Market, looking through vintage clothes and dusty records.
