It's Wednesday, I'm technically on "Summer Break" ( AKA not working ) & yet I still can't stop from getting giddy about a long weekend away with my husband, dogs, & family in Arkansas for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Since being married means splitting holidays & more family members ( both awesome things! ), I am thankful that my immediate family loves 4th of July as much as I do so we all have a reason to get together in the holiday "off season", & the pilgrimage from Denver to Arkansas is worth it for 5 days on the lake, catching up, & slowing down.
