Shopping in Alkmaar with Sylvia
As you can understand, when Sylvia of 40+Style is in The Netherlands we try to see as much of each other as we can (and my job allows). We like talking (a lot), taking pictures, shopping and visiting nice towns. Last Wednesday Sylvia and I went shopping in Alkmaar. An old town in the North-West part of Holland. And it did not disappoint. The gorgeous weather was a bonus.
But first let me tell you what went on the week before: our parquet floor got varnished. Which meant EVERYTHING had to be removed from the living room (into the shed and upstairs rooms). And that was a lot of hard work! As we couldn’t be in the living room for four days, we decided to...
