Changes I’m making Today I swam 30 x 25 meter lengths at the pool, and I reached my step goal with an evening walk around the neighborhood. I rarely go for a walk – it’s normally a run – but I was buzzing when I got home. There’s something so calming about a walk to good music, seeing neighbors, and local flora and fauna. If not for physical health, I plan to make it a daily event for my mental health. These Fitbit things are quite compelling – at least the novelty factor is working! I’m actually astounded that, even when surrounded by pastry products, toffee and lovely baked goods in the UK, I have managed to shed 5lbs while I was away.
