Sunshine and Showers It was a dull, rainy morning when I chose this outfit. I was obeying the law that the brightness of one's clothing should be inversely proportionate to the gloom of the weather. We weren't off anywhere fancy, just popping to a few local towns for a spot of charity shopping. I was glad I took my umbrella, as the heavens opened when we stepped out of the car at our first destination, a rather downmarket town. It felt a bit grim, but I'm glad I persevered as I bought a few lovely, quality things. Obviously the town had a much more affluent past, with an older generation that spent their money on decent stuff. I'll save that haul for my May purchases bulletin. Our...
