Chinatown || Matching Mint with Secrets in Lace Exploring all of historic New York City will probably take a lifetime, and I only wonder what took me so long to be here! Immigration to Manhattan's Chinatown began in the 1840's, and according to Wikipedia, still home to the highest concentration of Chinese people in the Western Hemisphere today. The longevity of authenticity and culture in this area is so obviously apparent, and it was a breathtaking sight to behold. With buildings over 100 years old, splashes of vibrancy and colors, the aroma of food, this area is an amazing experience just to walk through. We even stopped for dumplings which were only $5 for 20! ...and were in fact the best I've ever had. ...
