Espadrilles – the must have summer shoe
In recent years I have become more and more aware of the need for comfort in the heat. A month in the Mediterranean each year, plus at least 6 months of 70 degree celsius necessitate comfy, cool feet. I love my flat simple sandals, but there are still times a girl needs some good heels. Espadrilles fit the bill perfectly for height and comfort – and the added practicality of a wedge means you can glide along the lawn at those summer gatherings.
My favorites at this time include these classic Castañers . The tomato red pair are just perfection with a crisp cotton white dress and brown legs.
