Vacation Living
Remember last year’s disastrous trip to Mexico for our family? Well, I’m happy to report that this year’s vacation – a jaunt down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida – made up for it in every way.
And boy, did we need it.
It’s been a stressful last month. I won’t go into boring details, but we’ve kind of been hit from every angle. This time away together was exactly what the doctor ordered.
The kids and I headed off by ourselves first, and Ed joined us late that night. Now that our youngest two are freshly eight, and our oldest 12 (Sadie and Davis celebrated their birthday two days before we left, and Avery turned twelve...
