This weekend, we celebrated my mom’s birthday. It was a milestone, so we wanted to make it extra special! My aunt flew in on Friday, and I hosted my cousins, aunt and mom for brunch on Saturday. That night, I went out to my mom’s place on Long Island with her and my aunt, and yesterday was lunch with her closest friends. My mom is my best friend. She’s smart and funny, and one of the most creative people I know. It was so fun to celebrate with her, and I can’t wait for the final celebration, a mother-daughter trip over the summer!
