cool water
over the weekend, i decided i wanted to get out of town. so with no particular plan in mind, we hopped in the car on saturday morning and headed north. we started our day with a bit of shopping first in corte madera, then in petaluma, and finally managed to wander all the way out to bodega bay to lay on the beach and cool our warm bodies with the ocean breeze. the temperature difference between the coast and the inland areas was like night and day, and i was happier than ever that i had a change of clothes in the car because i started the day in a sun dress, sweating in the summer heat, and ended it wrapped in multiple sweaters watching the seagulls float past in the...
