A few weeks ago I happened upon this fabulously, awesome, need I say more, epitome of 50's glam, Christian Dior black silk petal hat. I'm looking for certain pieces and designers that symbolize the fashion statements of the 40's, 50's, and 60's. But, mainly the earlier periods. It's really interesting to take a peek back in time and learn more about the lives and creations of these fashion icons. I'm quite sure that you shall see more photographs of this Dior hat in the future. The dress is also a great find by Lanvin Paris and is made of wool. Normally, these dresses command the mula but I was able to get this early 60's wool creation for $195. I bought the hat...
