The Wild Side
Remember that old song that goes, “Hey babe, take a walk on the wild side…” ?
It’s kind of what goes through my head whenever I wear my ‘natural’ hair.
Because it’s my wild side.
Not only does it look a little wild and crazy at times, but it grows bigger and bigger throughout the day (particularly when it’s human – then watch out!), which in and of itself is a little nutty and unpredictable.
While most women are out there purchasing volumizing products, I’m shopping for stuff with which to weigh it down. And truly, it’s more work to style it than just blow drying it straight and then curling it...
