Planning a Destination Wedding
The Planning Process
I knew that planning a destination wedding wasn’t going to be a piece of beautifully-iced wedding cake. There was a lot that we had to take into consideration when choosing to get married in Portugal – plenty of pros, but a good amount of cons, too.
With the majority of Miguel’s family living in Portugal, we thought it was a no-brainer to do it there. Not only would we have a better chance of sunshine, but it would be a great excuse to get some of our favourite people together in Miguel’s hometown and show them where he grew up.
Of course, planning a wedding isn’t always smooth...
