Flashing back to a sunny day in New Mexico (a stark contrast the dreary day we’re currently experiencing here in DC). I always make a point of bringing one of my most treasured possessions when we visit the southwest – this antique Navajo squash blossom necklace my mother gave to me a few years ago. IMO it’s one of the most classic statement necklaces you can own. Making a mental note to wear it more around DC as it goes equally well with a simple button-down or a t-shirt.
