Visiting the Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle
Chihuly Garden and Glass , an exhibition of Dale Chihuly' s glass blown masterpieces curated through eight galleries, a Glasshouse and lush garden was the perfect way to spend a portion of my visit in Seattle. I grew up attending the local arts and crafts show, Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, CA and was always mesmerized by the glassblowing demonstrations. It is a tedious process and I am always amazed at how a magnificent vase or animal figurine is created from granules of colored glass.
