I consider that for everything there is a good and bad element, or as I used to say a pro and a con! When it comes to brooches, this can be absolutely true! These small jewelry items can really add a nice sparkle and punch and usually are a small investment. However, because most of them are pins, they can damage some materials. Not that I have the solution for this negative aspect, except to say be careful!!
