Cape Town Days 1-2- Silvermine Reservoir and others

Hi there, as usual, the thought of typing up a holiday post fills me with reluctance- it always FEELS like an arduous process even though I am glad when I have it here as a record and memory. We travelled to Gatwick on the 22nd December arriving to catch a 7.30 flight to Cape Town. We flew with Thomas Cook air who have started doing Direct Summer flights there. Since the flight took place over night, much of the journey was spent trying to sleep. 'Trying' being the operative word.
