Winter Wear: Plaid Statement Coat + Red Pumps.
Breaking out a loud plaid statement coat for the Trend Spin Link-up.
Who says your outerwear has to be basic? I like mixing in loud prints ( as you’ve seen ’round here recently ) to shake things up. This red and blue plaid statement coat is an old Zara fave and adds some serious punch to a look. (Looking for your own statement coat? Try here and here , and I love this floral number .) I layered it over a velvet bodysuit, raw-hemmed skinnies, and a pair of poppy red suede pumps. Not only is it bright + fun (to combat those impending winter blues), but it’s right up my alley in my alma mater’s colors. (Rock chalk!)
