… And a Happy New Year. (A 2016 Wrap-Up)
This year has been an absolute WHIRLWIND. So much has happened that it’s challenging to process it all! From a personal standpoint, I started 2016 having recently quit my full time job. I was desperately sick with an illness that is notoriously difficult to cure, with doctors only pushing antibiotics and making it much, much worse. I felt basically alone since my friends and I scattered after graduating college. And while I was sewing, I kind of pigeonholed myself into styles that didn’t feel authentically me. To say things were less than ideal would be a massive understatement.
Now, while not 100%, I’m much healthier and steadily improving...
