And just like that - another Christmas has come and gone. It's kinda crazy how quickly the "big event" always flies by, isn't it?? The gifts have been exchanged and opened...the holiday dinner (or dinners!) have been enjoyed...and now it's time to catch our breath and let the dust - or is it glitter? - settle before those New Year celebrations begin!! Our own festivities actually had somewhat of a rough start; the fur-baby we adopted only a couple of weeks ago (and who'd been adjusting so well to her new home with us) suddenly became very ill...and we had to make an emergency trip to the ferret vet on Friday.
