Casual Elegance
I’m the last person to consider myself “elegant.” I’d say I’m “cute*” or “quirky.” But someone else said I looked “elegant” in this casual, holiday party ensemble, so I’m going to embrace the adjective. Sweater, Express (consignment from our Sacramento Fashion and Style Meetup at Article ). Skift, Bass (thrifted). Booties, Blondo. Scarf, flea market. Necklace, thrifted. Bag, Steve Madden. Raincoat, REI. *How old does one have to be before “cute” no longer applies? I’m ready to outgrow that one.
