Those Chords, They Play My Soul
Stones. The Rolling Stones. Have you listened to Blue and Lonesome yet? Oh man, it’s fabulous. They’ve really hit the blues roots again. It’s feelin’ like that old time Chicago Blues that they started out worshiping and wanting to be. It’s pretty much playing on repeat right now. There’s something about Jagger’s voice and those guitar licks that have me wanting to drop everything and hang in a smoky blues bar with a bourbon in the ’60s.
It’s obviously never gonna happen, but I can continue to have the Stones playing on repeat while those chords play my soul. *intentionally cheesy there, I get it*
