Dressember: Day 2 of 31
For those of you who haven't heard, here in the LA area we've been experiencing a fairly large scale power outage. There was a big windstorm (70-90 mph winds, "hurricane level winds," I heard them say on KCRW...yikes) on Wednesday night, and now there are about 200-300,000 of us without power, since two nights ago. To illustrate how not used to natural disasters I am, I still drove downtown to meet the photographer I had planned to meet (only, after driving twice as long because of out-of-power stoplights slowing traffic severely, to find out her studio was also without power), and then, when that fell through, I still drove to Target (which was open, somehow), and...
