Oh Hamilton
I have never seen the broadway play Hamilton (though I certainly would love to).
But I know the entire thing by heart.
Not because I’ve listened to the soundtrack that often (even though the music is great).
But because my daughter will not stop singing it. She knows every word. To every song. There are 46 songs. So that’s a lot of words. Pretty much every day, she gets off the bus and turns on the soundtrack as soon as she’s through the door. She googles info about Hamilton, the cast, and and Lin-Manuel Miranda and has all sorts of trivia knowledge ready to share with anyone who will listen. We even watched a documentary on the subject on PBS.
