Indian Summer
We have had a few days of unseasonably warm weather here in the Midwest, and I am truly grateful for it. I got all excited for fall only to get a huge sense of regret the first day temperatures dipped into the 40s. Nope, please give me that pseudo-fall where I can wear my scarves and boots but not actually need a coat. I am cherishing today, because I know my winter coats will be getting a lot of wear in the upcoming months. I'm welcoming bare legs for one more day!
