My cat “Manny” came into life during my freshman year of college, within the first month of moving down to South Carolina. At just 7 weeks old and far too young to be on his own, I broke all the rules of living in a dorm to keep him safe and healthy. I wasn’t even that fond of cats yet I couldn’t imagine what would have happened to him if I turned my back and decided not to rescue this life changing pet.
