When Buzzfeed asked me to create an outfit inspired on the great Frida Kahlo, the first thing that came to me was inevitably her braids hair style, the Mexican traditional costumes, customized garments, and her unmistakable one-eyebrows. However, it wasn’t the idea to dress up like her, but to inspire myself on how she has influenced on the world of fashion, and on how we dress everyday.
So after researching and checking my wardrobe, I found the outfit that I thought it could be more appropriate to recall a very independent, feminine, breaking-the-mold woman, that liked to feel comfortable, but with not much effort, didn’t ever leave anyone indifferent....
