Balboa Island, CA
On my last day in LA, we went over to two of my family’s favorite spots- Newport beach and Balboa Island. We had lunch facing the beach in Newport and all I could think of was how I want to re-watch the OC, just to see where they shot their scenes. lol. The beach was quite, clean and perfect for short vacay with friends or family. I love how there are so many public beaches in LA, and they are all so well maintained! You can rent out the houses by the shore for a quick weekend getaway. The guy behind me in the photo below was having a small party with his friends on the 2nd floor of that house- such a great idea!
