This mesh skirt is a perfect example of what a difference proportions can make in a garment . I might be getting old, but I wish there was a bit more of the skirt and a little less of the mesh fabric in there. The mesh part exposes too much of the legs and that pronunciation is underlined by the asymmetric cut of the skirt. This skirt, the way it is , is too seductive to my eyes and taste. I imagine the same skirt with more length to the solid portion and no more than 3-4 inches of the mesh hem. That proportion would turn the skirt into a garment that’s very unique, still feminine with a lot more options to get wear out of it.
