I've always loved the outdoors. It's been ingrained in me since childhood - the smell of sage, the brush of the wild grasses - the smell of dirt. Yeah, I get made fun of for that one. But anyone who was raised in a rural area understands what I mean. Nature is my happy place. It always has been. Being outside, moving and breathing in the air allows me to think. No matter how many stresses life brings, taking time in a quiet place outside always brings me peace. Maybe it's because nature is untouched - just as it was when it was created by God.
