It was supposed to rain today, fortunately the weather man got it wrong, it's been a beautiful day with blue skies and sunshine and it's even been remarkably warm, perhaps Spring isn't that far away after all. I brought this wee marble mortar & pestle set a while ago at the Riccarton Market, it was $5 (they're usually at least $30 new) and I've used it a lot since. One of my favourite things to cook is Thai food, especially Thai style curries and a mortar & pestle is a must. What type of food do you like to cook??
