double duty
I’ve been loving the longer, simpler silhouettes this summer, not just for their flattering qualities, but also for the fact that they allow my dresses to play double duty as tops. You might remember this one from last year when I was pregnant. I tried my best to find pieces I would be able to wear again and this workhorse of an LBD has worked equally well as maternity wear and a post-pregnancy dress. Looser-fitting pieces like this are necessary for surviving the DC heat!
