When I first moved to Dubai I made it my mission to meet as many local influencers as possible and find out what its like blog in the UAE. One thing that I discovered to be crucial is NETWORKING. You actually physically have to go out and meet people, which I found to be somewhat rare in London with majority relying on email or maybe a brief phone call. Here, in order to be invited to events and socialise with other bloggers, you have to meet face to face. Yes its can be awkward...
