Friends & Franciacorta
Last Wednesday, I shared a lovely evening with friends & Franciacorta. In the gorgeous bright space at Central Kitchen in SF, we experienced my favorite kind of night out: good food, good friends and fine sparkling wine.
Franciacorta is both a region (one hour outside of Milan, Italy) and its own category of sparkling wine, made meticulously in the traditional method. And with its proximity to Milan, its ties to fashion are pretty natural: Franciacorta is the official wine of Milan Fashion Week. And, not surprisingly, my favorite was the Saten, which is just as silky as its name implies and is an ode to Franciacorta’s deep fashion heritage....
