Summer weather in England: sporadic, humid and sometimes hot, but always welcome. Although it doesn't happen often, news that a heatwave is making its way to our shores brings summertime plans, because inevitably it won't last long. With a spell of unusually warm weather forecast, and a Carousel dress just begging to be worn, John and I planned a mid-week evening at the seaside. Which starts to explain where I've been.
