Carouge and Old Town Geneva
When Geneva Tourism heard that Jack and I would be in town for a few days, they were kind enough to contact the hotel and offer to take us around for a day. Of course, we both gladly obliged! I’m never one to turn down a tour by a local! We ended up covering so much ground and learning so much about local culture and Geneva history from our 2 awesome guides. Shout out to Loan Le for being the sweetest <3
We started out with a walking tour around the city center. This monument above was given to the Duke of Brunswick, who gave his fortune to the city of Geneva with the only requirement of having a monument in the city. Crazzy.
