rewearing vs remixing
I wore this dress to work today and my boss said she'd never seen it before. She has, of course, but I'm so awesome at remixing that she didn't remember*. This is what getting the most of your clothing is all about. People snark on remixing- they say it's just rewearing your clothes but I think there's more to it than that. Wearing one piece the same way every time is rewearing. Wearing that thing in so many different ways that your co-workers don't recognize it when they see it; that's remixing.*There really should be a typographic method of expressing sarcasm. Give me a font effect or a punctuation mark or something....
