Maxis are my favorite way to deal with crazy, they're usually warm enough but light and breezey for the warmer parts of the day. This jacket is a long time favorite, I bought it and my embroidered denim jacket from American Eagle back in 2013 and they get a ton of wear - sturdy enough to stand up to hard wear but super cute and work with everything.
