My favorite things to do in Chicago every summer

As of yesterday, it’s finally summer here in the Northeast — officially so, at least. Happy Solstice, my friends! (Does anyone else watch Broad City? And if so, do you read that as  sol-steece?) Summer and travel  — two things that essentially go hand-in-hand. There’s just something about longer days and hot, humid nights that have me longing for the chance to take a little vacation… (Or maybe it’s the fact that I don’t live in New York and can no longer escape to the Hamptons every weekend, but I digress.)
