STYLED: Kimono Dressing
Kimono styling (outside of the boudoir) has definitely been having a moment, finding its way into numerous collections this season. So when I was asked to style an editorial for a luxury kimono line based out of San Francisco, Old Shanghai , I was super excited to take on the challenge. I was inspired to show the kimonos styled in non-traditional settings making them a bit more approachable for everyday dressing–worn as a swimsuit coverup, over a silk slip dress (love this look for evening!), and paired more casually with vintage levi’s. It was such a fun shoot to be a part of and the photos turned out so good that I had to share.
