The Thing About Marriage
A few of you may know that my mom experienced a health scare over the weekend. Long story short, she was internally bleeding and they took her by ambulance up to University of Colorado hospital in Aurora from her town about 2 hours away. She has an extremely complicated medical history, so any hospital visit is extremely serious and treated with the utmost care. (Which, this particular hospital always does an incredible job!) Each time, it sends me on a roller coaster of emotions. My mom was told in 2009 that she would have til the end of the year to live. It's 2016. 2016!!!
