Updo Updon't Updidn't
My vanity got the best of me on Sunday. I foolishly thought it would be nice to have my hair up, in an updo, for my wedding anniversary dinner, as a kind of homage to my wedding hair. I foolishly walked into my magical hair salon at 5pm without an appointment and was told there wouldn't be time to help me because of the five other people already waiting. Then I foolishly and stubbornly drove to the next nearby hair place and was told they were closing. Not getting the hint from the universe, I went to yet another tiny hair shop in the same sketchy neighborhood. It was very hot in that shop, no one else was in there, and the lady said in pretty messed up English...
