I broke free on a Saturday morning..
I made this dress a while ago now - finished it off in March after starting it before the new year - I'm not sure what took me so long. When I first picked the fabric up, I'd planned to make this Simplicity 1194 with it - I love the cross-over straps detail and the cutesy bow detail at centre front. All I needed to decide was what to wear with it, and an occasion to wear it for. It seemed kind of apt to save my beach print dress for a trip to the beach, which just so happened to be where I spent my birthday last weekend.
