My Arch Nemesis
I heart summer.
Bring on the hot and sticky days, spent at a pool or lake. Lazy mornings where we get to sleep past 6:30. Snuggles in bed with kids who aren’t rushing off to school…. sounds so dreamy right about now.
But there is one thing that I absolutely abhor about the summer months. It’s a foe that rises up to fight against me, even as I battle valiantly time and time again. No matter how hard I try, I cannot win the war against it.
What is the terrible monster, you ask?
It’s the weeds in my yard.
Seriously, my next door neighbors must HATE us, because the side of our house that faces them sprouts these ginormous tree like weeds...
